This is a very well-made machine and I'm sure it will last for years. It's very quiet, especially at lower speeds and is plenty powerful. The angle and height adjustments are also simple to control. There does seem to be a bit of a problem with the depth adjustor - you have to make sure it's really tight or it will slip when it's running. The other negative is that it's quite bulky and not particularly easy to store or conceal. If they had a suitcase for this thing, I'd buy it. Having said all that, it's worth the price
