Good texture, even through a condom (you can get cheap condoms at around $17 for 100... not 100% trust in them for stopping babies, but definitely works well for keeping your toys such as this clean). It does have a smell that never goes away, but this doesn't bother me or my partner at all. I can definitely understand how it would bother some people, and there are other reviews here which described this, so be cautious.
