I didn't ask for a specific color. I probably would have been happy with any color. It didn't come w/ instructions nor w/ batteries. AA batteries are the batteries that goes with it though. It came in a little brown box with brown paper-like wrapping. I even checked the box to make sure it didn't have the name of the product on it. Nope. It was shipped every discreetly. The vibrating sensations are fabulous. The dildo itself is not to hard and not to soft. You can definitely jiggle it side to side and it moves. I do remember reading a comment on here that says that the dildo looked like it was painted blue by a kid. I don't know if that is true but mine looks actually like the picture.
